These values are very personal and knowing them gives you a clearer idea of what is most important to you in your life and career. Career values are beliefs that you consider important from a work perspective. Values help you understand what you want from a job? Explore some examples of workplace values that can influence career paths and job satisfaction.
Most of us don’t know what we expect from our life, from our work. We think so, but it really isn’t. Most of the time, we only know what we don’t want. Do you know what are the main preferences in your life? Do you know what matters most to you? How to know what makes you happy, around what your life evolves? Knowing precisely what you want is very different from knowing what you don’t want. Once you know what matters to you, your intentions become focused and you channel all your energies into achieving it.

1. Independence – Freedom to think
Freedom of thought (also called freedom of conscience or freedom of ideas) is the freedom of an individual to have or consider a fact, point of view or thought, independently of the points of view of others. I want to have the freedom to think, the time available for me and the freedom to act according to my conscience
2. Expertise – Strive to be a master
Expertise is a particular skill or knowledge acquired through training, study or practice. Expertise helps you stand out and build your reputation. To continue learning and to become a recognized authority in what I do is my dream. I want to be a MASTER.
3. Social Service – Making a difference to society
Social workers choose to have an impact on the lives of those they meet. The smiles and gratitude of the people you help are priceless. I want to make a huge difference in the society in which I live. Helping other human beings gives me happiness
4. Friendship – Building Strong Networks
A recent Harvard study concluded that having strong friendships in our lives even helps promote brain health. Friends also help us manage stress, make better life choices that keep us strong and allow us to recover from health problems and illness more quickly. I want to spend time with people I love and I love working hard to get them to love me
5. Wealth – Enjoy Wealth Honestly
Wealth refers to the value of everything a person or family owns. Searching for true wealth can mean searching for deeper relationships, more personal growth, or ways to make life more meaningful. Achieving true wealth means possessing the ability to enjoy the small, ordinary pleasures of life. I want to achieve wealth in a way that makes me truly happy and fulfilled. In the pursuit of wealth, I feel accomplished.
6. Family – What matters most to me
Imagine life as a game in which you juggle five balls in the air. You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit – and you keep it all up in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls – family, health, friends and spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one, it will be irrevocably scuffed, scored, nicked, damaged or even broken. They will never be the same again. You need to understand this and seek balance in your life.
I want to have time to share with my family. My family is what matters most to me.
7. Power – Having control
People with great self-control are happier. We all want to be happy. And to be happy, we have to feel in control. I find happiness when I’m in Control. I want power, control over others.
8. Leadership – To Control
The happiest people make the best leaders, and conversely, the unhappy people do not make good leaders. In fact, the best leaders put their own interests before those of others and are happy about it. I find happiness in being a Leader, in becoming influential.
A stable routine gives structure to your life and makes you feel in control. Living and spending time in a loving, safe and stable environment is extremely important to all of us. It is necessary to grow and succeed in life. What matters most to me is having a stable and secure position.
The journey of self-improvement is an ongoing process of constant learning. It gives you the opportunity to assess your strengths and weaknesses and work on them. Deciding to follow the path of self-improvement and personal development gives meaning and meaning to your life. What matters most to me is having a stimulating job that gives me opportunities to grow
For many people, the place of work is an important criterion when looking for a job. Office location is important because it affects employee job satisfaction and work/life balance. I want to live where I want to live. Location is very important to me!
Success is important to us in order to perform better. Success is more important than material or financial reward. Achieving the goal or task gives greater personal satisfaction than receiving praise or recognition. Success gives us an incredible feeling of satisfaction. Achieving important goals matters most to me. I want to constantly engage in the pursuit of something worthwhile!
Pleasure, understood as a positive impression due to positive stimuli, or otherwise a feeling of satisfaction, is an indispensable element of a balanced life. But pleasure is also the pride of doing a good job, a feeling of satisfaction, of well-being, of love, of affection, all those things in life that make your heart beat. I want to enjoy my job and have fun doing everything I do!!
Self-respect helps others see and treat you with dignity and worth. Often the backbone of self-respect is knowing your values and sticking to them. Having self-respect often means standing by your character and being willing to stand up for your values and actions. My image and self-esteem matter most to me. I want to be considered successful!!
