Bass' Transformational Leadership Theory

Bass’ transformational leadership theory is based on an approach to performing beyond expectations that defines four elements of transformational leadership. The 4 elements described by Bernard A. Bass in 1985 are idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration and inspired motivation. This study highlights four key ideas about performance beyond expectations and the associated criteria for measuring it.
